Now for some introspection

Today my mom and I got in a huge fight where I cussed her out and hung up.

Later when I called her back I told her that I am happy. Despite failing at school, having no money, not eating much, being in a new city, working a scary new job and being away from the people and persons I love; I'm happy.

It's mostly a combination of I'm doing what I love (newspapers) and I'm doing it on my own. And I'm doing it in a pretty good place and a pretty good newspaper. I'm also still in contact with the people I care about and I spend a lot of time talking to some of them.
